In the Beginning, there was Arts & Services for Disabled emerging from the chrysalis of Services for the Developmentally Disabled of Long Beach, the primal precursor set in the distant past of the  the  mid 1980’s. We know little of that era, shrouded in mystery and therapeutic magic.
