Coastline College Classes
Coastline College in collaboration with Encore Programs Inc provides professional art instruction to students onsite in disciplines of visual arts – drawing, painting, clay sculpture. Taught by former Program Manager, Katie Stubblefield, a well-known and established artist, students at Encore Programs learn a variety of techniques and skills in the visual arts, enough to encourage them to seek out venues to showcase their work. Indeed, at the end of each semester of college level art instruction Encore and CAVA students participate in Coastline gallery shows.
Several of our art instructors work through Coastline and teach part-time at Encore Programs. Here’s a sample lesson by Sara, our most recent teacher.
Coastline held a gallery opening May 23rd, 2023 that showcased Encore Program clients along with other developmentally disabled college students throughout their district.
